Who we are
Meet The Team
Marcia Bremenour, M.E.d., LPCC-S
Marcia Bremenour, M.Ed., LPCC-S is a licensed professional clinical counselor and the founder of Be Well Cleveland®, with more than 33 years of experience helping people reconnect with what matters most. Her path began in hospital-based intensive outpatient work before evolving into private practice, a journey that deepened her conviction that the wisdom clients need is already within them, and that her role is simply to help them hear it again.
Her work draws on polyvagal theory, somatic awareness, and a lifelong inquiry into what it means to feel genuinely connected to oneself, to others, and to something larger.
Her philosophy is simple: that meaning lives in your ability to love yourself, each other, and the planet. She offers individual therapy, telehealth, and NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback, and serves adults across Northeast Ohio through offices in Mayfield Heights and Independence. She works entirely by referral.
Whatever brings someone through the door, her orientation remains the same: the work is not to acquire worth. It is to remember that it was never absent.
When I'm not in session, you'll find me in my garden, on a ski slope, or outside somewhere, happiest if there’s a dachshund nearby. Fresh air and time outside in the mornings is my favorite, and I love doing a little tai-chi and qigong to stay healthy.
This is Marcia. We love her because she’s funny, direct, grounded in love and connection.
As a therapist she is compassionate, nonjudgment, sees a huge value in supporting people as they become more integrated with themselves.
As a human she loves dachshunds, gardening, snow skiing, anything involving water, and learning new things.
Helen Bednarz, M.E.d, CT
I've been thinking and writing about people since I was nine years old, even then, I was trying to understand what made the people around me tick, what was admirable about them. That same curiosity and compassion now undergirds the work I do with clients, helping them live a life that nourishes their spirits and aligns with their values.
My background as a parent, educator, somatic practitioner, and creative shapes how I help people show up better for themselves. Sessions with me are intentional and draw from a range of approaches; grounding practices, art therapy, and more than a few lighthearted moments along the way.
At the heart of it, I believe we all exist in connection with others. Helping people feel genuinely connected to themselves, so they can show up more fully for the people in their lives, is work I find endlessly meaningful.
I'm proud to be part of the only practice in Ohio that integrates NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback with EMDR and mental health services.
This is Helen. We love her because she is creative, energetic, artistic, playful, genuinely interested, engaging, and laughing at us as we write this.
As a coach and counselor in training, she utilizes EMDR, Compassionate Inquiry, somatic practices, and creative expression to help process trauma, resolve interpersonal issues, and values moving through stagnation to flourishing.
As a human, she dances through life, loves thrifting, and has an incredible collection of vintage silver forks.
Courtney Langmo, M.E.d., LPC
I've always been drawn to people who struggle to put their pain into words. As a kid, I wanted to be a vet, I even rescued worms on fishing trips, but I eventually realized my calling was helping people find their own path to healing.
Therapy with me blends humor, compassion, and practical tools. I believe we all have the capacity to heal; it's just a matter of accessing what's already there. Whether we're using EMDR, exploring emotions through conversation, or simply figuring out the next step, my goal is to create a space where healing feels possible, even when the words aren't.
I love working with teens and young adults navigating transitions, and I believe growth can happen at any stage of life. My ideal client is someone in the middle of a big shift; graduation, career changes, relationships, or just feeling stuck. You don't need to have it figured out. You just need to be open, even if that means starting with "I don't know."
If you're ready to dig in, be honest, and maybe laugh a little along the way - I'd love to work with you.
This is Courtney. We love her because she brings a level headed joy, supportiveness, and great fashion sense to the practice.
As a therapist, she is person centered and flexible, trained in EMDR, and loves to help clients with anxiety-reducing skills.
As a human, she still works as a server in the Cleveland restaurant industry because she enjoys the energy and interaction of the work. You might notice her matching her
mascara to her sweater.
